I'm Leah Michelle—a dance photographer, lifelong dancer, and storyteller based in San Diego.

Having danced since I was three years old, I've experienced the excitement of performing, the pressure of auditions and performances, the joy of growth, the setbacks, and the confidence and friendships dance can build. That perspective is what I bring to every session.

Photography, for me, is about far more than creating beautiful images. It's about preserving a moment in your journey before it becomes a memory. My goal is to help every dancer feel confident, empowered, and truly seen while creating artwork that reflects not only how they looked—but who they were during this chapter of their life.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of photographing hundreds of dancers throughout Southern California—from young dancers to high school seniors, college dancers, professionals, dance companies, and studio performances. Every dancer has a story, and every story deserves to be remembered.

When you step in front of my lens, you don't need modeling experience. I'll guide you through every pose and movement while creating a relaxed, encouraging experience that allows your personality and artistry to shine.
